@ Loki: I really could not care less about your opinion concerning which database I use to keep track of my friends. I actually have both Myspace AND Facebook because all of my friends either have one or the other.

mine's pronounced the same way. it's the scottish variant of the name. though technically if you translate it to english it means John... hehe
Yeah. Haha. I found the John thing odd too. I'm not sure which variant mine is. Never researched it all that much.

There's a guy in my guild named Ian too. One of the one who always uses vent too. He's Canadian though.
Ian is the standard form which i believe originated in england. iain is from scottland. 'tis only those 2 variants.
I do believe Ian is from England too.
I think I've known 2 other Ians throughout my life though never an Iain. Thats a pretty cool variation.
