My first Kara drop!

One-shotted Attumen (as always), downed Moroes in two or three attempts (we wiped once because the mage didn't have a threat meter installed, so he kept pulling agro) and got his boots, but we ran into a wall at Maiden. We had 5 melee in the raid, and they just wouldn't listen to me when I tried to tell them to space out and stand back (that gal's hitbox is huge; Insert sexual pun here).

It is ALMOST impossible to do Maiden w/ more than 3 melee(not including tank).
Space available just doesnt allow it(maybe if she had a hit-box like Nightbane).

Deadly Boss mods is a requirement for my guildies. NO DBM??? NO RAID!!! =D

Went 8-2 in my 2's tonight....finally toppled my personal goal of 1800, and up to 1824. With only 1 piece of Vet gear and 1 piece of S2 gear.

Rogue/Priest is completely and utterly OP...and I love every second of it. XD

Edited for clarity.

Druid.

Druid. All I can say.

I'm gonna try that one out as well. My buddy's wife never uses her toon to PvP, so he is going to commandere her toon to PvP w/ me(since war/rog doens't do so well, lol)

On a funnier note, Mageoken, a preist and I made a 3's team to mess around with. Beat a 2k rating team(rogue/frostie/priest). From our our server and our faction no less. +23 rating FTW! Talk about some sore losers.

Am I the only person getting a significantly increased number of random world drops? I scored 6 greens and 1 blue killing 25-ish thistlefurs last night. A few people in my guild have also noticed an increase in drops.

One time I was taking my nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned down warehouse. "Oh no," I said, "Disneyland burned down!" He cried and cried, but deep down I'm sure he thought it was a good joke.

Dude, I cried I was laughing so hard.

Confessions of a subtlety junky...

my accomplishment is that after 40 levels I finally got combat. The rationale behind the switch is clear, but I held out for so long because I have only been playing 4 months (PVP server at that) and my rogue is a solo character. This meant I had to discover the areas myself and as soon as I moved from STV to Badlands, I made the switch and what a difference it has made. Rolled over Tanaris and Feralas and am enjoying the game much more now.
I also wanted to use this as a mechanism to convey my thanks for those who have shared their knowledge on this forum. Without, I'd still be Subtlety, in stealth waiting for that pat to res so I could get quest cred without having to take on a couple mobs at once. So... thank you.

Two days ago I got Thrash Blade = :D.

I'm confident that as a pvp'er I'm terrible, but it seems that in arena I'm finally coming into my own. After weeks of losses our rating dropped to 1186 (yeah I know that's awful but I blame the learning curve). Anyway, my firemage partner and I scored 8 straight wins and finished the weak out with a 9-1 record and raised our rating to 1326. Still not great I know, but we even beat a druid/warrior combo. I know most 2v2 teams rock with a healer and a DPS but the combat/fire combo my best friend and I have going on decides matches in about 10 seconds. Thanks for all the advice you guys have posted about arena/pvp it's really helping me shine as a rogue.

Oh the best part is the team name is "Believe It!" Imagine getting your *** beat by Narutards; it just makes victory all the sweeter.

we had 5 melee last down, one shotted. as long as you have a distance meter like the one in DBM or BW you are fine. T5 healers help too :P

Not a hard fight by any means, but having melee DPS in the front is just gimping the damage.

Grats man. If your team keeps having problems though, try and see if your partner will respec frost. So much survivability it isn't even funny.

Better than wiping because Holy Wrath is tearing your melee apart.

"Dead = zero DPS"

You really can't talk about gimp damage with the kind of gear you're sporting, mate. Smiley: wink

Got s2 shoulders last night btw. Still no shoulder enchant because I don't play enough anymore to run around farming.

My old guild had been in its death throes for some time.

Tuesday, I got an invite from an old guildy into a new guild. This guild as active (20+ members) and the members are enthusiastic. While I am very over geared compared to most of them, they want to learn and they want to do this.

We may even start the 25mans this week.

The other rogue in the guild that I've met is a fresh 70, but hes bright. I think I'll end up referring him to these boards. Without these boards (Especially theo, demea, nooble, teddy, et al.) I would be the noob rogue.

Were you looking at my PvP gear? I was pretty sure 1400AP, 26% crit, and 187 hit wasn't bad for a mutilate Kara rogue.

Pretty simple idea.

Try not to rag on people in this thread for things they think are accomplishments; if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all (in this thread Smiley: laugh).

Tisk tisk Theo, :(

I wasn't ragging on you for an accomplishment. Smiley: wink

edit: and yeah Eon, I got a life, though I still play on wednesdays and thursdays. I browse the forums while at work and class on my iPhone though, so I won't really truly be gone, though raiding is out of the question, and I'm really only working on my 3v3 right now, since my priest had an emo fit when **** happened in RL and I couldn't log on to arena when I said I could.
