Now I need to learn about all sorts of new things, like hit rating and gem sockets and which things are pre-BC content that are outdated gear, instances, etc. Sooo confused and overwhelmed, and kind of nervous about how close 70 is suddenly becoming. I still feel like a total newb and I have no idea what I'm doing. When does that feeling go away?

Oh, AND -
I freaking died on the elevator in Shatt. I had heard about it before but didn't give it any thought until I actually rode the elevator the first time. I lagged out and had to restart the game. When I logged back in, there I was, dead at the bottom of the elevator. I was surrounded by skeletons of others who went before me. I am officially in the club of elevator ghosts now.




Side note: Is it me or did a lot of you used to frequent the samurai boards on the FFXI side? It's been a couple of years but I recognize a few names.

Finally got off my *** and got enough honor for the S1 OH, gonna work on the MH this week then respeccing to something silly...like BF/Cheat Death Fists :)

luckiest day ever

first i get my T4 shoulders from King Mauglar

then gruuls belt drops i get it for hardly any dkp so i'm happy

the we go finish last nights kara run, prince drop T4 headand Ring of 1000marks, sadly i get out rolled for the helm by a shammy but the ring is mine(replaced my last blue)

then we go NB and guess what, his chest drops which is automatically mine with no other rogue or greedy droods in the raid.

now i have the hard choice of what gear i should equip, depending on the selection i have between 210-320hitrating, between 1500-1800AP and between 28%-33% crit. just need to find the right balance.

*cries* Lost Worgen Claw Necklace to a goddamn hunter!

i've aslo been asked to become CL as our current Cl hardly as time to play anymore

Finally got over my unease with stealth, pickpocket, and sap. I made a macro and ran amok through Tyr's Hand(?), picking and sapping everything in sight until it became super-easy. I'm so proud of me (and ashamed it took me so long to figure it out but whatever). My lockpicking is at like 294 or something now too.

My new mad skills came in handy in our guild instance runs this weekend.
Leader: One of the rogues, go sap the skull.
Me: I'm on it!

Also got my epic mount and dinged 61. Yay!

And had another death on the Shatt elevator. I would like to blame lag again but sadly, it was my fault.

Finally got off my *** and made my engineering goggles.

Broke 1700 AP in PvP gear with 33% crit.

First time poster here but felt after reading so much and learning all about rogues on this forum I would contribute. I just hit 70 yesterday and got the S1 mace. Have to wait until tomorrow to get the oh. I was originally going to grab the S1 dagger after leveling up as shs. But with res getting in the way of my perfect ambushes I decided to try the ar/prep butild. I have read on here that it is mostly dead and according to top rogues i saw only one that was specced this way. But to be honest I absolutely love it so far. Miss the mobility and burst dps a little especially when fighting clothies but now I feel like i can take anyone on. Sadly enough I know its not quite true. BG's have shown me that a fully decked out warrior will pawn me no matter what but I look forward to getting better gear and putting up a fight. Anyways this went on a lot longer than I originally intended. I look forward to all the great advice and funny flamings I see on here.

I would say look at my armory and tell me what I need to do but I have read the faq(imagine that!) and all the same posts asking for advice. That being said I already know what to do lol .

Biggest accomplishment: longest thread on the rogue forums.
