Cait = #1 waifu. Just ask my hardened receiver. Wait... not sure that makes sense.

Curie > Cait. Nothing Cait does/says is going to warm my heart more than "Now we file a police report, yes? And put all this evidence into plastic baggies." when I'm looting dead raiders. Also (Curie story spoilers): I have Synth-Curie wearing the sequin dress and wielding Pickman's knife and she tears shit up. I'll walk around a corner and see her standing hip deep in a pile of dismembered ghoul limbs.
Cait has the Grognak Axe and Strong has... umm... some sledge that I think is unique but might just be legendary and I don't know because I never use Strong.

New patch disables mods. There's a couple workarounds -- I believe the simplest is to launch the game directly from its .exe and skip the launcher but I haven't tried it -- but I'll leave it to you to look into it since I'm not home to say what works and what doesn't.

From my understanding you just have to re-enable them in NMM. Will try to confirm.

Also I have finished the game now on one route. I have characters allied and waiting to finish the other routes but I just like rolling new characters to try different builds. Stealth ninja teleporting blitz stabbing is by far my favorite so far. Takes a bit to get going but once you do it's nuts.

If you're doing the NMM route, you have to re-enable them each time between starting the launcher and hitting play. The launcher disables the mods each time it starts.

I went with F4SE to skip the launcher. All my mods are intact (I only have three or four). YMMV.

The only one I was using added armor slots and weave to more items. I decided I did not really need it on my sneak character anyway. DT went from like 250 to 150 but no problems. I finished another route though and my enthusiasm might be waning to finish the other 2 anytime soon.

I will say bad story writing or not it was actually emotionally hard to pull the trigger against certain factions. Especially after siding with them in a previous play through, you get kind of attached.

I could survive without the Extended Armorer mod or whatever the "Put armor over your dress" mod is called. But I refuse to play without the dialogue mod that lets you see what you'll say instead of "Yes/No/Perhaps/Sarcastic".

My other mod just colors the Pip-Boy black. For some reason I think I might have a forth but maybe not since I can't think of what it might be.

After recently unlocking ballistic weave and having affinity maxed with Cait, McCready, & Deacon (Almost have Hancock's maxed too) I am utterly unstoppable even on hard difficulty at level 50: 95% Accuracy on all head shots from anywhere in VATS with max upgraded Oversear's Guardian (which I've used since I got it as my go to gun early in the teen levels).

Its gotten to the point where I'm kind of sick of doing the same quests over and over again, so I've decided to stop fast travelling and just walk everywhere. I discovered Covenant last night which was kind of neat. I actually had the option NOT to kill everyone for once, but chose to do so anyway as I didn't want to **** off Hancock & Honest Dan.

I haven't touched the Minutemen. Preston was all "Waah, waah... be our leader because we all suck and you've been in the Wastelands for a half hour now and have your infant son to find and are armed with a law degree so obviously you're the best choice to lead a Wasteland militia" and I was all "Holy apes, you're pathetic" and refused to speak to him again.

If you do touch them a few times, you get artillery launchers you can build in all your settlements that allow you to call down some artillary strikes.

I bombed the **** out of Covenant after I found out what they were up to. It was cathartic.

On my Minuteman run I actually reclaimed the commonwealth. I got every settlement set it up with decent defenses, food, water, beds. Linked them all with Local Leader and have a thriving community of moisture farmers and glue mat providers. Plus artillery EVERYWHERE. I thought it was a fun concept to rally the community. I have not pulled the trigger yet on the minuteman nuclear option but once I do I will try and finish my Ad Victoriam character and blindly follow the Broho into techno hording, long hand holding showers, and bleed brotherhood foreverness.

My institute sneak ghost amoral guy was like, uhh yeah, **** that ima rule you all with my robot army. So I think their is a nice measure of roll play available between the different factions. Even if they are mostly morally grey or inept.

Edit: Oh and I do different play styles for each character. One might be a hard charging bash melee shotgunning hip shooting combat rifle commando, while another is a sneaky 12X damage knife stabbing Deliverer sniping secret agent ghost. I just like to build concepts and roll with it in Beth games.

Got it during the Xbox black friday deal. Have to say prob one of the best games I have played in a very long time. I liked Fallout 3 minus all the mazey *** metros in the DC area, this is much better though.

That's because MacCready's perk is broken and grants a 2000% bonus instead of the 20% bonus it says on the tin.

I'm at 300+ hours Smiley: lol Think I am getting my monies worth. Current character is playing on survival. It's really rough at first, like two raiders is a big battle. I've turned the curve now though and have my character set up with good stuff like Deliverer and Overseer's.

Still I went to go do the castle at level 15 thinking my character is catching up to the difficulty curve.... Queen Mirelurk be like: Spit. I be like: Dead

Should have brought my power armor. But I ended up taking her down after a long and protracted fight of me hiding for dear life in a corridor while Preston got back up from downed state shot her once and went down again. She would turn to him for a sec so I could shoot at her. Then I would duck back in as the acid hit the wall outside. Gun bash baby lurks for 3-4 minutes. Repeat. Used up most of my ammo supply.

Survival is fun!

I guess Target is selling super-duper-limited Nuka-Cola Quantum today if you want to fight nerds to own a $2.99 bottle of relabeled Jones Soda that looks nothing at all like the in-game version.

Apparently Caliente has an alpha of CBBE for FO4 up on Loverslab if anyone who used it in Skyrim is missing it for their pervy FO4 run through.

It doesn't change who you can romance. It's just a nudie mod that also makes you a bit more buxom when clothed.

Bethesda plans to raise the price of the Season Pass from $30 to $50 at the end of the month, so buy it now if you plan to get the DLC.
