Dun Scaith - Like weeping City initially, it's pretty fun, cleared it in first hour but the mechanics are heavily reused from previous alliance raids, so it's a nice "be on your toes" type mechanics since they're VERY easy, but it gets very hectic when people aren't paying attention.

If you're tanking and didn't do Creator Savage, you SHOULD boost your ilvl...especially if you're PLD, surprisingly. The main wall, at least I noticed on Aether so far is Ferdiad because people either panick or don't understand Water Debuff = Turn Blue Circles red, Fire Debuff = Turn red/yellow circles blue.

Zurvan Ex - Since my FC already raided Creator Savage it wasn't too bad, but it's definitely harder than Sophia Ex, there's a couple of phases to it which are fairly straight forward but it's definitely mechanic driven more so than DPS check at end (similar to Sophia Ex.)

Won't comment on MSQ since I'm waiting till part 2 to actually do it fully, but the two new dungeons are fairly interesting mechanically as well, so expect to see rage quits for a few days lol.

SAM confirmed in the datamining, apparently. Not that that's a surprise.

I looked into that, it's in the quest data, so it's possible..but SE is known to troll quite hard with early data lol. Not surprised it's SAM, but would be more surprised if it's a DPS and not some "because this is FFXIV" and it's a tank or healer.

Not a big fan of the new raid or dungeons... not sure why. I do like Dun Scaith better than Void Arc, but it's sure hard to follow the masterpiece that was Weeping City. The new leveling dungeons don't really excite me either. The first Sohm Al was probably my least-favorite dungeon, and this new one might be my second least-favorite dungeon. The Wall is better, but still not great.

My favorite dungeons to date are probably Hauke Manor HM, the Library HM and the Antitower. And Weeping City definitely takes the cake as my favorite 24-man raid.

Haven't tried the new primal yet (NM or Ex). Might finally have time for that tonight.

Agreed, Antitower was my favorite HW dungeon by far.

Just ran Dun Scaith for the first time and it was miles better than Void Ark and Weeping City, imo. Died a few times because I went in blind but that's half the fun.

Otherwise I've been spending most of my time PVPing and leveling jobs since I resubbed about a week ago. Still haven't touched the new dungeons or Primal. Hell I haven't even fought Sophia yet.

I think it could go either way, but I'm hoping it's a DPS personally. Although some kind of hyper skill speed tank would be interesting. Either way I'm just happy to see Samurai in the game.

I want it to be a DPS. They already took DRK away from me. Must they take SAM too?
