Just put a spoiler tag on it so people can't see it. Maybe I haven't been paying attention, but I'm confused. I think people know what I'm talking about.

We're all 1-4 days away from getting more details on that situation. We could take that meeting at face value, or he could have a plan of his own. No one knows for sure.

Ok, I thought I may have missed something. Seems we're all in the dark then.

That scene appeared to be a teaser leading into that particular side story. Or so it seemed to me. Perhaps I missed something as well.

I couldn't tell ya. I'm skipping the crap out of cutscenes to hit 60 asap so I can start collecting law tomestones. In 2 hours I'm about 100k from level 51, just off of quests alone, and haven't even hit the first dungeon yet.

Bleh I hate it when people skip CS, it's an RPG, why play through a series of disjointed zones and instances just for the currency? It's not going anywhere.

But each to their own I guess.

Quite honestly I don't skip cutscenes, but in 2.x I always ended up skipping some of the fetch ones they threw into the main story because it felt...almost insulting. It's like if you're watching a movie, then suddenly they transition into a 60 minute segment of Bruce Willis eating breakfast, watching TV then walking around town playing with dogs then suddenly transition back to the rooftop where he's in a standoff.

Jarring stuff like that is what ends up making me hit that skip button, it serves no purpose in the main plot. 3.0's plot so ffar (Think I'm about 8 off from end) is overall better but you really can't blame someone who skips and rushes - Yoshida said he feels it would take people until alexander to hit 60, mostly due to FATEs giving abysmal exp ontop of ending up being stuck while doing main and side story quests. Throw in the fact you don't get exp from the faster level 50 dungeons...it creates a sense of rush because the only thing to really do..is level the new jobs, the main story and...fates/leves, There's no "side activity"..and in order to do the main story, you need to be 60.

I skip the CS because while the game is my hobby, I treat it like a business, and being one of the first to make it to the top is very, very lucrative. I don't care much for struggling to succeed because others beat me to the punch. I also endgame raid and those people slow down for no one. Plus I have a full time job, wife and kid, so the time I would normally spend watching CS, I spend with my job or my family instead. So, I can watch the CS later in my inn room if I feel like reading a good book.
