This quest is received shortly after logging in for the first time during Erollisi Day. It not removed from your quest journal at the end of the event, allowing you to work on it at your own pace as long as you have enough roses. This quest is not repeatable.
By presenting my fellow Norrathians with fresh-cut roses, harvested in Enchanted Lands or New Halas, I can earn myself a romantic reputation!
Didn't get your title last year? It's time to get romantic!
Your rose only counts toward the title each time a fresh-cut rose (harvested in Enchanted Lands or New Halas) is used on a unique player, with a one hour timer on each player you give a rose to, so that you may re-gift again after an hour passes. [1]
One additional feature is that you will receive your fresh-cut rose back, as well as be notified, if you have already given a rose to that player! Though you can gift roses to pets, they do not count toward the total!
Starting in 2011, the amount of roses given out will NOT reset every year. Additionally, you will be able to continue to work on your titles throughout the year, and not just during Erollisi Day! However, you will only be able to pick up the roses in Enchanted Lands or New Halas during Erollisi Day. [2]
