The EQ II of today, at least on Najena, make this 99.9% impossible to get done level appropriately as all the sirens are ^^ or ^^^ and there are not enough to complete the step in one round.

This quest is initiated by examining a wicked scythe head. This item drops from orcs in Zek, the Orcish Wastes.
- Forage 20 Sticks of Marred Arbor in Zek, to make a Shaft. Foresting must be at least 140. After you have done this examine the Scythe again.
- Kill 20 Sirens in Zek (around 183, -20, 380 ). After doing this you should examine the Scythe again.
- Kill Driver Ughar at the Sullon Lumbermill in Zek, at -388,-23,-301 . After doing this examine the Scythe a final time.

I've found an odd object - a wicked scythe head. I think there is more to this object than meets the eye.

Killed Driver Ughar today. I dont know if this is the trick to spawning him, but I killed everything in the sawmill for 3 hrs. He finally popped.

This quest is not categorized as a heroic quest, yet all the Sirens & Driver Ughar are heroic mobs.

Where is the start of this quest? There is no LOC listed for the Scythe Head. I cant remember, its been too long since I started it. =( Please help.

Since the patch, this quest has been sitting in my book untouched at the sirens step. That is because they are now L38- or 39-ish 3-up heroic mobs. I could solo them at 38, but now at 44 I'm not so sure about that. My opinion is that if the reward is still the same, this quest is simply not worth it.

He's now a ^^^ mob with some unbelievable HP, was green to me at 47 and essentially handed me my *** on a platter.

I found Driver Ughar today in the Sullon lumber mill, (where the sullon coppers and loaders are), atop of the platform in the back. The Loc is (-388.23, -23.09, -300.93). Hope this helps.

How can you call this quest "Very Good"? You have to kill a 40^^ mob, and you get a level 29 sword as reward. How is that not awful?

I camped the Sullon lumbermill for about 2 hours last night and he never spawned. If I find him, I'll give the details.

Driver Ughar is a 40^^ mob. He does not have any buddies with him, but he hits very hard and very fast. You might want to bring some friends for this one.

Named Orc is called Driver Ugnarr who is in the Sullon Lumbermill (where the Sullon Lumberjacks are).

Also you have to kill 20 Sirens(then examine)and a named logger on the way to the castle(then examine), hes red to me at 32. Havent completed this quest yet, going to get a higher lvl guildie to help me and another guildie who has the quest also.
