Something is amiss! Misha, the dying ratonga, felt a huge change occur. Even though I was cleansing some of the cursed ones from the Pit of the Awakened, Incael, the soul-sucking gem, has grown even stronger! What is aiding the gem? What change has occurred with it?

Stage 1

I must investigate what has changed recently about Incael, the sentient gem near the eastern edge of the Pit of the Awakened.

I should return to Misha, the dying ratonga, on the path leading to the Pit of the Awakened.

Incael was actually an imprisoned lich! He would have forever remained contained within the crystal had it not been for the impressive amounts of arcane and necrotic power he was absorbing from the Pit of the Awakened. Thankfully, I was able to defeat the lich before he could cause even more harm to the imbalanced and threatened continent of Velious!
