This quest is initiated by clicking on a book on the floor of the library -18, 13, 47 Copy

You must slay patchworks soldiers in Nektropos Castle until you get a quest advance.

Note from Adaefia:

You will NOT be told 'You didn't find any quest items' every time you kill patchwork soldiers but will be notified of the update and hear it ding when you do find the charm so no this quest is not broken.
