The shadow attacker was a level 8 two arrows down mob that appeared not to be agressive.

The shadow attacker didnt attack me, it is non aggressive, i had no idea it had anything to do with the quest until i looked it up here.

It jumped on me as well and it was grey to me at the time. Try deleting your quest and get it again.

This is the first step in my journey toward becoming a full member of our fae society. The Fae Rite of Passage Advisor, Lady Katri Eloranta, says that I must study diligently in order to contribute toward our growth.

Stage 1

My first task is understanding combat and self-defense.

Start:	Lady Katri told me to go to the library to learn more about self-defense.
Complete:	I was attacked!

Start:	I should speak to the defense trainer, Bark Chiselchin.
Complete:	I've spoken with Bark Chiselchin.

I've been in contact with the self-defense instructor, Bark Chiselchin.

Stage 2

I need to tell Lady Katri Eloranta that I've successfully completed my self-defense training.

Start:	Lady Katri Eloranta, the Fae Rite of Passage advisor, is on the platform near the Old Kelethin Acorn Lift.
Complete:	I've spoken with Lady Katri Eloranta.

I spoke with Lady Katri.

My self-defense skills will help me as I venture beyond the safety of Kelethin into the larger world beyond.
