Adalin needs your help. He knows of evil sprites and asks help cleansing a number of trees in Oakmyst. He warns to watch out for evil gnolls.

Cleanse trees in the following locations with the Cleansing Salve he gives you. Trees are located at:

West of the gates to Castleview Hamlet 899,3,-207
East of Western Falls (west of first tree) 940,5,-1977
East of the entrance to the docks 922,3,357

cleansing this tree spawned a vv level 7 gnoll corrupter

Reward - a gnoll paw after killing the gnoll corrupter, then return to Adalin and tell him of the gnoll attack. He asks me to take the gnoll paw to Lieutenant Charlin, so that the Qeynos Guard will believe the threat.

Lieutenant Charlin is just West of Adalin at 788,7,-202 . Show the paw to him, and receive additional reward of 97c and +125 faction to The Tunarian Alliance.

a hand will appear over cursor when your at the trees. right click with the hand and an option to "cleanse tree" will appear

How do I cleanse the trees? I found at least one of them for sure, but don't see any way to cleanse it.. Ran around the tree, tried to click on it, examined the cleansing salve, to no avail. =/

Adalin Emerael has asked for my help in cleansing certain trees in Oakmyst Forest. He was cleansing them himself when he claims was attacked by a gnoll and was unable to fend off the attack. He says the guards didn't believe him, but he is sure of what attacked him. He has asked that I go and continue his work. He has also asked that I keep my eyes open for any gnolls. If one does appear he has asked that I take its paw as proof for the guards.

Stage 1

Adalin has asked for my help in cleansing a number of trees in the Oakmyst Forest.

Start:	I need to cleanse the tree west of the gates to Castleview Hamlet.
Complete:	I have cleansed the tree west of the gates to Castleview Hamlet.

Start:	I need to cleanse the tree east of the Western Falls, west of the first tree.
Complete:	I have cleansed the tree east of the Western Falls.

Start:	I need to cleanse the tree east of the entrance to the docks.
Complete:	I have cleansed the tree east of the entrance to the docks.

I have cleansed the plants that Adalin has asked me to cleanse.

Stage 2

I need to return to Adalin and tell him of the gnoll attack while cleansing.

Start:	I need to return to Adalin and tell him of the gnoll attack.
Complete:	I have spoken with Adalin.

Start:	I need to bring the news of the gnoll presence to Lieutenant Charlin.
Complete:	I have spoken with Lieutenant Charlin.

I have informed Lieutenant Charlin of the gnoll presence in Oakmyst Forest.

In helping Adalin Emerael cleanse some of the trees in Oakmyst Forest I was attacked by a gnoll. With the gnoll's paw as proof Lieutenant Charlin has agreed that a possible gnoll threat needs to be looked in to.
