Mullok, from the Hidden Cache, has lost his "cherished." It may be worth something to find this.
I have found Mullok's "cherished" item.I've found Mullok's "cherished" necklace.

and when i left the zone, i was stuck on the rocks right outside. i zoned in and out several times and finally had to hit my call to guild hall to get unstuck

Im not sure but it may help... I and it looks like many others have found "The Cherished" under/at the base of a clump of weeds... I would start your search there.
This quest is working again. Got my gem at +176, -16, -187.
Its bugged! Can't find it.

It's smaller than your head and coloured black, very easy to miss.
First thing I tried was angling the camera overhead and slowly making my way around the pond, passed by it 2x and didn't even see it.
I found it by angling the camera underwater, behind myself (ankle-eye view, looking forward) and running around that way - found it very fast. If you're Iksar, activate Aquavision, but anyone should still be able to find it this way.
It's smaller than your head and coloured black, very easy to miss.

Cant's eem to find The Cherished. Is it on a spawn timer?
By the way, ran across the rock where Mullock spawns. He spawned, non-agro, hailable, asked if I had The Cherised. I killed him to see what would happen. He slowly chew through my pet but I kited him with a slow and DoT's. Dropped Runic Darksteel Spaulders and Rune of Snipers Shot.
Zone lockout 18 hours.

Gem Update is group update, killed him with a guard at 58, a inquisitor 67 mentored to 58, and me a lvl 53 bruiser easy... he is however on another note a 4 step kill... every 25 percent he gets bigger and harder, as far as i could tell only harder hitting. so whatch for that... P.S. hex doll debuffs work great on this guy :)

The loc is random. We have found it at 196, -15, -142 and at 154, -15, -127

It isnt a ring or a key its triangular shaped gem. its big enough to see easily and in shallow water about 20 ft to the right of him as you look at him.
loc is 165,-16,-206.
he hits you with about 2-3k of crushing damage.

The name of the quest is "The Cherished", not "My Cherished".

The ring is in the water and isnt that close to him. Once you pick up the ring Golem goes Bananas and starts killing so make sure ur ready for him before u pick up ring.

You kill Mullock and get your quest reward. Some amulet that drains 24-29% of your power and life every 5 seconds and grants invisibility. I guess its a Lord of the Rings joke. Other that kicking the cat the zone is pretty much useless, loot is 100% vendor trash.

This is a small triangular shaped gem that is located in the pond in the zone. It may be easiest to see if you angle your camera underwater or shrink yourself to be able to look underwater in some spots. It can be in various locations.
When you grab it Mullok will attack you immediately. Kill him for your reward.
