The Red Marble
This quest is given to you after you click on the chest at 17, 0, 33 in the barracks. You must first complete The Boar's Head to have barracks access.
Head back to the first boar's head, south of the Chapel at -14, -0.18, 41 , and put it in to complete the quest and spawn A Swine Fiend in the corridor behind you.
You will now have access to the Nektropos Castle Library.

Completed Boar's Head just before this quest. Seems you must complete Boar's Head to gain access to the barracks. To get to the baracks, coming from the castle entrance, go through the first set of doors on the left, toward the chapel, it's the set of doors right there on your left after the first corner. Chest is in the back right corner of the barracks.

This is great and all, but where are the barracks?? Completed the boars head, got the key, and no map i can find anywhere shows where the barracks are. Wandered around nek castle today for two hours and still couldnt find it.

Killed the Swine Fiend and didn't get ANYTHING!!

It seems that only 1 swine fiend will spawn for the group. We had one group member click the boar's head then killed the fiend and then tried it again with another group member but the fiend never spawned again.

If more than one player clicks the boar head at about the same time, still only one Swine Fiend will spawn. We tried that out some hours ago.

did this quest today, horrible loot. i guess it changed, we got an unholy tablet 3 times. 4th time we got a fairly decent bracelet. i'd suggest dropping the reward rating a bit

We tried to do this quest twice tonight, the swine fiend didn't spawn the 2nd time. Don't know if that was changed lately

The quest rating on this one should be upgraded to excellent for money and items. I have done this 8 times now with different people and 3 times master chest dropped. The master chests contained a master spell, a tier 5 rare item and a lesser equipment item. The other 5 times the chests were of the larger variety and contained adept1 books and armor for the mid 30's levels. I have yet to see vendor trash drop from the Swine Fiend.

This quest drops insane loot. If you're in a group only get it once for every group member and do it 6 times.. We got 2 metal chests and 4 kick @ss wood chests...

The person below is correct, however even after doing both The Boar's Head and The Red Marble quest, you still cannot open the library door UNTIL YOU HAVE KILLED ALL 6 SISTERS. At that point Alexa herself tells you that she has removed the magical barrier from all rooms in the castle, and you can now go into the library via the basement from one of the sister's bedrooms.

The Information here isn't completely correct anymore. Once you put the marble into the boars head you will automatically get the library key. The Swine Fiend will spawn but walks towards you from another area and ends up walking in from behind you (as you face the boars head). Now, my group did the quest by having one person put the marble in and then wait and kill the swine Fiend.
I do not know what would happen if everybody in our group had done that quest at once. Would we have been fighting multiple swine fiends or would one spawn immediately after the other was dead. A fairly easy quest and VERY nice rewards off of the swine fiend. Nice items and some 40+ lvl adepts. The swinelord dropped a chest every time.

I found a red marble in a lockerbox in the barracks. It sort of looks like an eye and appears to gaze at you as you look upon it.
Placed the red eye in a hollow socket.I placed the red marble-like eye in the swine's head hollow eye socket. It earned me a Library Key!
