I just completed this quest (2 Apr 2005) I got 46s.

I found a ship's log in a submerged trunk that hints that the boat was possibly scuttled because the captain was losing his crew to the alluring sirens in these waters. I shall avenge those lost sailors.

Stage 1

The alluring sirens menace the waters of the Thundering Steppes. I am going to seek them out and avenge all of those who fell victim to their charms.

Start:	I need to slay fifteen alluring sirens in the Thundering Steppes.
Complete:	I have slain the alluring sirens.

The sirens have been silenced, and the sailors have been avenged.

I have avenged the sailors by silencing those wretched sirens!
