Well .. at first I didn't think it did work. I talked to everyone, ran around the entire outpost - in and out - and then all of a sudden got an update at location -554.91, -12.85, -320.98

It is slightly inside the archway of the Keep.

Odd, isn't it?

None of the methods listed here got a quest update for me. I searched every item, hailed and spot to every NPC but never updated.

Perhaps is broken after 19U

The keep is actually south of the Tower

And the coin reward is 4s 47c

You need to speak to the Lord in the tower

Just what are we supposed to be searching for here? I've been through every nook and cranny of the keep and I've got no quest update...

Did this quest today at lvl 30(cause i want the belt at the end) and i got 4s and 47c =)

Also put GROBB on your list of servers played. are we not good enough for ogaming or what?

The Keep of the Ardent Needle quest can be done at level 10. There are many gnolls along the road to the Keep, but they don't seem to disturb travellers on the road.
