You receive this quest from Harun Clearsky after you complete the quest Harun Clearsky of the Hooluk High Guard.
Harum asks you to travel to the Isle of Discord to meet with Demeoth Sharptalon. You must locate his listening staff ( -214, -76, -263 ) and use the reed pipe to summon him.
He asks you to kill 10 vultaks (the Strifewings around the "Cloud" pad work) and 10 aviaks (the Blacktallons to the west work) to prolong the strife between those two factions and to give the Hooluks more time.
Once you kill them, call Demeoth again, and he sends you back to Harun Clearsky on Whisperwind Isle.
Harun gives you +100 faction with The Windgazer and about 10gp. This opens the Disturbing Blackwind quest.

Harun Clearsky has asked me to travel to Discord Isle to meet with Demeoth Sharptalon. Once I find Demeoth I should offer to help him with whatever it is he is doing.
I have found Demeoth Sharptalon.
I have slain the Aviaks and Vultaks.
I have reported back.I helped Demeoth by weakening both the Aviaks and the Vultaks.
Stage 1

The staff is right behind the cloud platform that you land on. It can be hard to see because of its color it blends in with the rock that it is next to.

Just finaly got it to work been waitting for a week. the listen staff now works for the final step.

Im on the end of this quest. Killed 10 of each bird, went back to the dude made him show up fine, go back with wisperwind to turn in the quest and it wont work. standing right next to the thingy to make him show up but it says im not near a stave.

yep i think this quest is bugged too.. cause it keeps me tellin im not near any listening staves

I think this quest is bugged, that or the listening staves are, other people report the problem happens when they zone or log out...etc..etc..Ill post again when i get my petition answered..
