After I told Vornlin B'Vytyl about the shroomlings he asked me to bring him one so he could study it.

Stage 1

I need one of the shroomlings that grow from the corpses of the mushroom creatures.

Start:	I need a shroomling sample for Vornlin B'Vytyl.
Complete:	I have gathered the shroomling sample.

Start:	I need to bring the shroomling to Vornlin B'Vytyl.
Complete:	Vornlin B'Vytyl did not need my shroomling sample.

I have brought a Nightmarsh shroomling back to Vornlin B'Vytyl.

I brought Vornlin back one of the shroomlings that appeared after I killed a Nightmarsh creature.

Kill any mushroom and click on one of its babies.

If quest does not lagg you might be see these babies next to the quest giver. Quest lagged for me so I had to go to the Nightshadow Bog to get my sample.

Bring Vornlin a Nightmarsh shroomling sample. To spawn these, kill any Nightmarsh shroom. Right-click the shroomling to collect it. When you have the update, return to Vornlin for your reward and the next quest.
