I'm a little disappointed, that the 2 highest level HQs both give you a mace... doesn't do much good for my lowly Necro.
If it wasn't for the status, Most of these HQs would not be worth the pain it is to do them.

Ok this thing really needed an upgrade and they did give it a small one. But compared to the effects of 2 duel wield weapons .... its still horrible.

Has anyone seen this thing after the LU14 or 15 revamp it got. Supposed to be a lot better now. Would like to seee if it is worth the effort.

Is there a way to mount it and put it in your house like other HQs?? I cannot seem to do it.

The quest status is what I really care about here, anyone have a screen shot of it hanging on their wall? Remeber not all HQ have items you can use.

I dont see why I would want this weapon. ATM i have a much better weapon and I bought it at lvl 45 before the expansion. The screaming mace does seem better, why doesnt sony make better weapons for those who but the expansion?

Can’t recommend this HQ as the reward is completely lame. All I got offered was seven gold and a few silver for something I can’t use and on top of that here is minimal XP (2% as a LVL 51 Assassin) DOF is turning out to be a big disappointment and WOW is much more tempting to play every day.

The Screaming Mace is now grey at 55... so useless except for stats. And by comparing stats....

Rahotep didn't really disappear, but he was incredibly rare later on. Some people said he was on a 1 month(RL) timer, and that didn't seem to unlikely, seen that I only saw him once ever and that was at lvl 65 and after 2 years of playing. ;)
The second item exists since, as Zai said, there was a fabled version of many well known mobs around for about 1 month at the 5th anniversary of EQ. Those were mightily beefed up but dropped way better versions of their most popular items, too. Such as Fabled Journeyman Boots, Fabled Dwarven Work Boots etc.

Actually, this is was way pre any expansion in EQ1. Rahotep was a named rare mummy in North Ro. I killed him several times. He seemed to dissapear a little while before Kunark was released, only to be seen again when the fabled mobs returned to norrath.
You should be able to find the scepter on any old EQ site. Nothing fancy at all, but still. Fun to have like alot of other now extinct items :)

it is in eq1, rahotep was a mega rare named mummy spawn in north ro and he dropped a sceptre.

The new HQ arn't from old EQ1 there just items now. So they have all the perks of a HQ but its not an old EQ1 item.
