These ground spawn Items no longer give you an actual quest to follow, And are very hard to see.

You just go find them, and take them to "Warlord Gadar Gwalnax" at /waypoint 1471.09, 165.34, -2907.64. and he gives you +5000 Faction.

From never seeing them before, I had to run it 6 times, before I could pick up quests from the others in the room.

First person view did it. The kromslayers are really visible at two of the locations and the other two locations near the wood spike are much harder to see as the color of the spear looking weapon is very similar to the ground and as Bludwyng said, only a small portion sticks out. First person view worked really well! Thanks Bludwyng!

Dolak is the wrong NPC! Talk to Warlord Gadar Gwalnax!

Each turn in gives +5000 faction with eq2 faction:The Gwalnax Brigade.

EQ2Map shows 3 possible locations, all in an arc along the palisade of Karatun Hold, just inside the logs. I have been here 20 minutes and it has not appeared. I am guessing it could be ANYWHERE along the rim and am beginning to sweep for it.

This IS the starter quest for Gwalnax faction! takes 5-6 turn ins of this repeatable quest to get the mobs in the tower to talk to you!

well, I got the weapon but examining it does not start a quest, and Dolak will not talk to me still! :(

I cannot see how to GIVE it to him if he will not enter a dialog...

Finally found one at the southermost of the 3 rim locs EQ2Map shows. It looks like the haft of an axe barely sticking out of the ground and displays "a dull kromslayer" on mouseover. Very hard to see in 3rd person!

Spent the better part of an hour running in circles around the wooden sakes along the perimeter of the fort. Got excited half a dozen times seen the same varmint burrow.

Haven't even found 1....and we gotta do this 5-6 times?!?

Am I doing something wrong?

The 3 spots along the stockade are on sloped ground. All you will see is the point of the spear, or about a foot of the end of the shaft. It is almost impossible to see in 3rd person view. The location by the bridge is MUCH easier to see. AFAIK the 4 dots on EQ2MAP are the ONLY locations. Just go between those 4 and you will find it every time. It seems like it instantly appears in 1 of the 4 spots whenever it is harvested so it WILL be there!
