Was the rock taken out of hte game? The EQmap program no longer shows the spawn point but used to. anyone know if the spawn rock got nerfed? Wouldn't doubt it due to the camp bots that used to sit on it.

Thought I'd give this one a shot and started looking for it, expecting a long and hard search. Nothing on the first day after 2-3 hours running around Feerrott killing Huuptics and lizards. Got it on the second day on the first chest drop off some Evol Ew lizards close to where the rock used to be. Once I got the robe the quest only took an hour to finish. It's a spider-web kind of robe with a black and purple pattern. Not the nicest-looking robe I have, but looks OK.

This is still a good robe but a couple better ones have been added. X'Haviz's Gown of Glory is a good robe with high proc chance off hostile spells cast to restore some power and ward your character but is a high lvl robe. Robe of invoker is still really good for up to level 60 as long as you are focused on reduced down time. The quest drop for Invoker robe can take awhile to farm though, took me 40hrs. If you've got a 4-leaf clover equip it before going after this :P

I just recently came back to the game from taking a long while off to try other things. Is this robe still concidered one of the best end game robes in the game for caster class's? and I'll read below to see if there are any changes to the quest steps. thank you

You can not pick up the rock at level 39 (Wiz), confirmed today (12 Dec 2005).

/bug reports always sound more intelligent when you actually know what you are talking about. The RoI quest works just fine. I have done it three times. Gotten the tattered robe all three times from chest drops off the Tae Ew lizards. My assassin love the robe. casters... eat your hearts out. Better for an assassin then a caster any day... ANY day. period.

The note Miseree is referring to is for the quest "Taste Of Thule". That quest has been fixed, & the note Gretchen asks for can be turned in to progress her quest series. It has nothing at all to do with the Robe of the Invoker quest.

Not sure what note you are talking about. You get a tattered robe, examine it, get quest, do quest. I did quest with alt character on 29th

Checking out Feerrott with my 37 warlock, I decided to chk out the rock spawn. It was there, yet i couldnt interact with it. Ran my main out and was lucky enuf to get it that way. Now im just hoping that the robe isnt NO TRADE! heh

The RoI and GEB were nerfed to FT7 and FT5 stacking because a combined FT40 was unbalancing to the game, and giving Wizard/Warlocks a much higher DPS curve than they should have had.

For those that dont know this robe has been nerfed as of 28 Jun the +6 str has been replaced with +10 int and the +5 int effect has been dropped. Also, and most importantly the power regen has dropped from +20 per tick (5 seconds) to +7 however it _does_ still stack with the GEBs, however they also have been nerfed to regen +5. Why did they do this? who knows.. certainly unfortunate for those who spent 10p on it or camped the rock for a month for it however...

was the tattered Robe a Body Drop or a Chest drop ?
With Level 48 all the Mob there cons grey for me and i don't think i will get chest drops from them then :)
Of course, while reading the comments here i could get a clue that it is a Body Drop (receiving it at Lvl 50) but i want that confirmed before i slay hours and days grey mobs for nothing ;)

Yes, it stacks with all the other mana regen equipment. And no, you do not see a buff icon while wearing it.

The rock still spawns and gives you the quest, I got it yesterday. You can also receive the quest at lvl50.

Does the robe stack with golden effreti boots? Also do you see a buff in the buff window when you put it on?

Logged in directly after server reset. I was the only one in Feerrott ...but no stone at the tree.
