As of 20th july 05 the reward for this quest was as follows:-
1 silver 9 copper

choice of an asp fang earring
+2 agi +2 sta
mitigation 8 (12 @ level 11)

perfect snake fang

BTW did the asps in the ruins got drop on 2nd kill now thats what i call lucky.

This quest can take a lot of asp killing, so don't expect a quick drop. However, the asps are plentiful in supply, and right inside the gate - you can even take the dock to the ruins and kill the asps there, it is less crowded.
