Sewer Problem: A Gnome Solution

Foreman Asprenus persuaded me to investigate the sewers concerning reports he has received about the recent increase in drain stoppages and overflows. He told me to contact Engineer Veebert who should be working on machinery down in the Thieves' Way.

Stage 1

I need to find Engineer Veebert in the Thieves' Way and find out what problems the sewer is having.

Start:	I need to find Engineer Veebert.
Complete:	I found Engineer Veebert.

I found Engineer Veebert in the Thieves' Way and discovered the gnomes are using an unstable goo on the machinery. They better not have mixed up the batches.

I was able to get the key to Storage Room 303 where the gnomes have been storing their unstable Goo Grease. It looks like it is up to me to get into the room and take care of the problem.

The quest starts from Foreman Asprenus in the Bowyer shop in East Freeport. He tells you that there's something going wrong in the sewers and he would like you to go and talk to Engineer Veebert to find out what's going on.

Engineer Veebert can be found in The Thieves' Way in the big room in the middle of zone, next to the machine. He tells you that someone is pumping goo into the sewer system and that you should seek out Shift Boss Myrkle in The Serpent Sewers.

Shift Boss Myrkle is a rare spawn in the same room as Crazy Peepers (most SW room in The Serpent Sewers). He is aggro, but killing him is not what you want to do. You must talk to him, and apparantly you can just barely hail him from outside his aggro range if you edge forwards.

Shift Boss Murkle tells you that it is really an engineer down in Edgewater Drains who is pumping the stuff into the system and that you should go talk to him. He tells you to find Engineer Grimosh in Edgewater Drains.

Engineer Grimosh can be found way down the bottom of Edgewater Drains where all the very high level Murkwaters are. You tell him that he needs to stop pumping goo into the system and he says ok, and gives you the Key to Storage Room 303.

The quest ends here, and there is no hint as to where this storage room can be found.

EDITOR'S NOTE: We have reports this quest now is initiated by examining a pump near the Insane Peeper. We need confirmation and a loc/zone on this new start.
