I got this Quest on 12-9-08.
Worked as stated above.
Did the quest as a lvl 25 1/2 elf SK.
No problems here, on to the next part :)

Search for the Missing
This is the first of a series of quests for Freeport players to unlock the Froglok race. It is given by a Weary Kor Shaman in the Militia House of West Freeport.
He asks you to search for the froglok Kraofla -588, -49.4, -623 . When you try to leave the Militia House an Interrogations Officer will speak with you, talk to him to update the quest. Now it's time to find Kraofla. She will spawn when you get near Valor's End in the Commonlands. She will attack you -- kill her.
After doing this return to the Weary Kor Shaman in West Freeport.

I was able to get this quest with my 1/2 elf fury today so you can still get this quest.

As of today I couldnt get this quest. Im coming from Gorowyn and I bug reported it.

How get I Kraofla spawned? I am at Valors End at the given coords and nothing happens

You have to make sure that you get a quest "ding" from Gezlowe. That triggers the frog to appear at Valor's End.

I noticed this is the zone that starts"spirit of the lost" a raid zone, well I was wondering if this "search for the missing" could be done as a good race( from qeynos), is it possible to sneak in and do this, if not is there a sister quest from Qeynos to get me into the lost village of kugup, thx treavon Crushbone server [The Chosen Clan]guild.

Ok, I've completed every quest so far until I was taken to the Lost City of Kugup. Out of the several quests, I am having difficulty finding the lost doll. Anyone have any suggestions whereabouts it might be or spawn since I've looked all over.

The problem you are having is that you kill the frog twice.. first you kill it at the statue near freeport griffon tower..then return to guard in militia house..then you find out the frog was saved by qeynosians, you must go out again to the next camp and kill the qeynosians ..east of nek griffon tower next to zone wall..then the tent there will depop and an open tent appears with your second frog kill... i have posted a complete spoiler but not on this site yet!

Anyone having trouble w/ neither kor nor the IO recognizing that you killed Kraofla? I have restarted the quest three times and killed the protectors and the froglok 6 times and still I cannot advance the quest.

Again, while following your guide after you kill the Qeynosian camp in the commonlands and Kraofla for the second time, upon returning to Intelligence Officer Gezlowe the second quest in this series, "A Festering Problem" ends and he gives you a sealed note. When you read it, it gives you the next quest entitled, "Quelling the Rebellion." This is where you must find Jeth and Kath. Reward is exp and "an incriminating letter" which opens the next quest entitled "Eliminate Geraufl." Sending you to the Musty Dungeon instanced zone.

The camp is located north west a little from west nomad camp.
Once completed, you will recieve a sealed note from Interrogations officer. Read the note to be quested to kill J.T.S

After killing Kraofla, and then reporting the news back to Kor...this time the interrogations officer offers the quest "A Festering problem" which states that you must "find and destroy the Qeynosians and the rescued the froglok"

I'm following your guide as I do the quest and the Search for the Missing becomes the quest, A Festering Problem, after you kill Kraofla. The Froglok in the jail no longer wishes to talk to you but the intelligence officer informs you of a band of do-gooding Qeynosians managed to find a way to heal Kraofla. You must kill them all.

The follow on quest to killing first Froglok is called "A Festering Problem". This quest requires you to kill the Qeynosians and the rescued Froglok.

A strange creature has managed to find its way into the city. It calls itself a froglok, once chosen by the deity Mithaniel Marr. Apparently, its race was split during the Sundering, and the half in the Feerrott captured not long after. Now he seeks to find his lost companion.
Before I could search out the froglok, I.O. Gezlowe flagged me down. I now have a new assignment...
Kraofla's lifeless body rests under the shade of the statues of her beloved Marr.
The death of his mate has saddened the shaman.After speaking with I.O. Gezlowe, I managed to hunt down the froglok. Perhaps the shaman didn't catch on with what I did to its mate. It certainly doesn't seem to have. One thing is for certain, Lucan doesn't want this relic of a race among the living.
Stage 1
