Arconicus at the Crossroads needs some help gathering ingredients for a potion he is making.
He asks you to kill ten Wisps (any work) in the Commonlands to help him in his collections. You can find these around the statues and griffon tower at -609.96, -51.68, -590.76 . Alternatively, you can also find some around the Commonlands spire. This is around -95.57, -47.88, -442.62 .
After killing the ten wisps you should return to Arconicus. Next he'll ask you to kill 10 zombies. Any work, and the nearest are around 113.74, -48.04, -202.12 .
After you have done this, return to Arconicus for your reward.

I did this quest tonight and found that yes, you can kill any of the Gunthak zombies at the sunken boat, off the Freeport Dock in Commanlands. Make sure you have a water spell or Totem of the Otter along for underwater breathing. I found these at -1104.96,-198.38,-882.04. Happy hunting.

Zombies on graveyard ( 103.53, -47.63, -194.63 ) near the commonlands teleporter give credit, too.

The fallen crusaders in thieves way no longer give credit for this quest.

Cackling Cadavers in Nektulos also give credit for the zombie portion.

Sorry, but I meant to write Thieve's Way instead of Sunken City. The mobs are in Thieve's Way.

Also, I ahve found that their is a mob in the Sunken City that gives zombie credit for this quest. If you go past the Darkblade Duo's (Lady and Marius) room and past the 'Den of Darkblade Assasins', their is a mob in the big room called "A Drowned Cavalier". They are on spawn timers with the "A Fallen Crusader" (which you can kill for the Valmarr ring quest as well). Hope this helps any lower levelers trying to complete the quest.

While killing the undead pirates in Commonlands for another quest, I received crediton this quest as qualifying as the required zombines. Hope the info helps.

Instead of killing 10 Zombies, you may also kill 10 Pirates of Gunthak (sp?). They are located near the dock in Commonlands. You'll see a sunken ship if you swim a few meters into the ocean.

In the commonlands the undead pirates/raiders also count. They can be found udnerwater north of the docks.

Actually he's refereing to the zombies at the buttom of the ocean near Freeport docks. Text from the NPC is correct, the journal entry is not as it states FG is where the zombies are.

I've gathered enough wisp dust to bring back to the alchemist.
I've given the alchemist the vial of wisp dust.
I have collected what he calls 'glands' from inside their skulls.
I've been paid for bringing the alchemist the components he wanted.I've collected the ingredients Arconicus needed for his potion. Apparently he is making a growth potion of some sort, but was too busy to elaborate any further.
Stage 1
The bridge leading north from the crossroads will take me to the wisps, but it seems they're only out late at night.| Start: | I must kill ten wisps and collect their dust |
