This area is dripping necromantic power. I need to release the necromantic energies in order to continue attuning the shard to the Prism.

Stage 1

I need to do what I can to release a volume of necromantic magic in this room.

Start:	I need to find a way to release a great deal of necromantic energy.
Complete:	I have released a great deal of necromantic energy by killing the Atrocious Amalgam and attuned my fragment of the shard.

I have released a volume of necromantic magic and reattuned my fragment of the Prism.

I have released all the necromancy and the shard appears to have been further attuned to the Prism.

This is a sub-quest of Repairing the Eternal Prism. There is a quest like this one in each of the three instances.

You must kill the Atrocious Amalgam. To spawn him, give Miragul the Pair of Rotting Arms and Pair of Rotting Legs that you got from the chests in The Sepulcher of Decay and The Sepulcher of Corruption. The Amalgam will spawn in the pit at the bottom of the sluice.
