The reward (as of today) is 1g+, no items. The amount is probably varied according to lvl as with most monetary rewards.

This quest is given by Birchbark Oakleaf after you complete The Search for Beechlilly.

Gather 20 roots from Tussah Roots in Zek. This requires a minimum Gathering skill of 140.

After completing this task you should return to Birchbark Oakleaf for your reward, and to open up the Dispatch Some Orcs quest.

Birchbark has enlisted me for further tasks to find his friend Beechlilly. I must gather some Tussah Roots for a magical potion that may be powerful enough to locate her. I am hoping this works, so I may acquire The Branch of Te'Anara.

Stage 1

I must gather Tussah Roots -- found in the vestigial roots of Zek -- for Birchbark's location potion.

Start:	I must gather Tussah Roots from the fields.
Complete:	I have gathered the Tussah Roots required for the potion.

I have collected the Tussah Roots.

Stage 2

I have collected the Tussah Roots that Birchbark requires for his potion and should return to him.

Start:	I need to return these Tussah Roots to Birchbark.

I returned all the Tussah Roots I gathered to Birchbark

I gathered the roots that were required to make the potion. I am hoping this will help us find her and I will be able to get The Branch of Te'Anara soon. Though I am still unclear on what it's for...
