I met with a mysterious figure named Shalih Mar. She spoke to me a bit about the bond between beastlords and their warders, and how this connection makes them a powerful combination. She has challenged me to find out more about this bond myself, by taking on some of the Yarpsnarl kobolds in Butcherblock Mountains. They are known to be destructive and savage, and have been overhunting the wildlife in the mountains, and she has asked me to put an end to their habits.

Stage 1

I should confront the Yarpsnarl kobolds, and destroy them.

Start:	Defeat packs of Yarpsnarl Kobolds

Start:	Find the bodies of the slain animals, and release their spirits

I was able to cull the numbers of the Yarpsnarl kobolds who were ravaging the land on which they live.

Stage 2

I have helped quell the acitivities of the Yarpsnarls, and should return to report my success.

Start:	Return to Shalih Mar in Butcherblock Mountains

Through my efforts, I was able to create a stronger bond with my warder.

After defeating the Yarpsnarls, and helping to release the spirits of the slaughtered animals, Shalih Mar showed me a technique for maximizing my bond with my warder, helping us to reach our ultimate potential. She indicated that I should seek her out again later in my adventures, as she may have other lessons to teach me.
