I have found a faded sphere resonating with a faint power. The power is calling to me, beckoning me to search for a way to restore it. I remember hearing something about the scholars of Paineel investigating relics of power. Perhaps this is something they would be interested in.

Stage 1

I need to seek out the scholars of Paineel and see if they are interested in the orb I found.

Start:	Find someone in Paineel and ask them about the orb.
Complete:	I have spoken with an erudite scholar named Dahlia.

Start:	I need to seek out Vima Madrigan in Lavastorm and ask her about the orb.
Complete:	I have spoken with Vima and she gave me instructions on how to restore the power of the orb.

I found a scholar named Dahlia in Paineel and she told me to seek out Vima in Lavastorm.

Stage 2

I have been given instructions on how to restore this orb to its full power. It looks like the first step is repairing the physical damage it has sustained over the years. This will require that I recover some crystal shards from some inhabitants of the Hole.

Start:	Recover a spike shard from a shimmering guardian.
Complete:	I have recovered the bone shard and placed it in the orb.

Start:	Recover a crackling shard from a crackling stormlord.
Complete:	I have recovered the stone shard and placed it in the orb.

Start:	Recover a shimmering shard from The Gorgon Wrangler.
Complete:	I have recovered the shimmering shard and placed it in the orb.

I have repaired the physical damage of the orb. Its power seems to have grown some after doing so.

Stage 3

Vima's instructions say I should imbue the orb with the three flames of power. Each flame is located in a different place and will not be easy to get.

Start:	Retrieve Skyfire's flame from an ancient guardian wurm.
Complete:	I have imbued the orb with Skyfire's flame.

Start:	Recover the heart of flame from the reformed magolemus in Najena's Hollow Tower.
Complete:	I have imbued the orb with a heart of flame.

Start:	Recover the essence of flames from Grodinor in the abandoned labs.
Complete:	I have imbued the orb with the essence of flame.

The orb's power has grown more now that it has been imbued with the flames of power. Unfortunately the power seems to be dissipating. I must find a way to bind it to the orb. Perhaps Vima's instructions can explain.

Stage 4

Now that I have fixed the orb physically and magically I must bind the power to it. Vima's instructions say I can find the pieces of the binding scroll within the Erudin Library. But I will have to retrieve all 8 pieces from the Primarch.

Start:	Retrieve the 1st piece of the binding scroll from the Primarch Saif in Erudin's Library.
Complete:	I have attained a piece of the binding spell.

Start:	Retrieve the 2nd piece of the binding scroll from the Primarch Abdalaziz in Erudin's Library.
Complete:	I have attained a piece of the binding spell.

Start:	Retrieve the 3rd piece of the binding scroll from the Primarch Rais in Erudin's Library.
Complete:	I have attained a piece of the binding spell.

Start:	Retrieve the 4th piece of the binding scroll from the Primarch Najwa in Erudin's Library.
Complete:	I have attained a piece of the binding spell.

Start:	Retrieve the 5th piece of the binding scroll from the Primarch Jathibiyya in Erudin's Library.
Complete:	I have attained a piece of the binding spell.

Start:	Retrieve the 6th piece of the binding scroll from the Primarch Jabbar in Erudin's Library.
Complete:	I have attained a piece of the binding spell.

Start:	Retrieve the 7th piece of the binding scroll from the Primarch Basir in Erudin's Library.
Complete:	I have attained a piece of the binding spell.

Start:	Retrieve the 8th piece of the binding scroll from the Primarch Zaahir in Erudin's Library.
Complete:	I have attained a piece of the binding spell.

I have the binding scroll but in order to invoke it I must collect the components. I am sure Vima's instructions will help.

Stage 5

I must gather the components for the binding spell from several places in the world. The locations are mentioned in Vima's instructions.

Start:	Retrieve ensorced heat ruby from Blacksmith Lava-eye.
Complete:	I have attained the ruby.

Start:	Retrieve 4 piles of frosted lava dust from temple sentinels in Jarsath Wastes.
Complete:	I have attained the lava dust.

Start:	Retrieve an attuned channeling rod from Queen Gwarthlea in The Vestigial Cella.
Complete:	I have attained the channeling rod.

I have gathered everything I need to return the globe to its full power and receive my reward. Now I just need to execute the spell.

Stage 6

Now that I have everything gathered I must use Najena's forge to invoke the spell of binding. This will restore the orb to its full power allowing me to retrieve my reward from the scholars of Paineel.

Start:	Retrieve the everburning coals from Firelord Kaern.
Complete:	I have retrieved the coals.

Start:	Use the forge in Deep Forge to create the greater orb of the everliving flame.
Complete:	I have created the orb.

I have successfully restored the orb to its full power. I should return to Dahlia for my reward.

Stage 7

I need to return to Dahlia in Paineel.

Start:	Return the orb to Dahlia.
Complete:	I have returned the orb and received my reward.

I have given the orb to the scholars of Paineel and as a reward the scholars gave me a smaller replica of the artifact imbued with a portion of the greater sphere's power.

The orb has been restored to its former power and now rests safely in the hands of the Paineel scholars.
