Through Gnomish Eyes (Initial)  

Hotfix 1/8/08 - Although repeatable, only the first completion of this quest will grant a reward.

1. Examine Ernie's Incorporeal-Visual Activators, which you got from Gimblelock's Short Adventure, to begin this quest.
2. Equip the goggles. You can now see tortured adventurers. Talk to a few of them until one tells you they are missing something which is keeping them trapped here. You can take the goggles off, now. (you're welcome)
3. I am not sure of what is so important about the bone towers.
• At each of the 3 Bone Towers, clear the fetid fiends until you get the message, You feel a presence nearby. This is one of the Skeletal overlords, inside the tower.
• VERY IMPORTANT: Be sure to loot the skull with a dagger in it on the floor of each tower to receive a heart of fear and a corrupted mind from each encounter. You MUST have 3 of each when you reach the Shrine of Thule to spawn Terror and finish the zone!
• Defeat The Skeletal Master (74^^^) at the bone tower in The Swale of Viscera.
• We are not sure that you must kill the Master first, but it looks that way.
4. We need to defeat the bone towers.
• Kill The Skeletal Lord (74^^^) at 210,11,-273 Copy in Terrock's Bite.
• Kill The Skeletal Destructor (74^^^) at -219,32,419 Copy in Scareling Bogs.
5. We must venture further within the Shard of Fear and investigate this plane more. - In his journal, Gimblelock spoke of the Amygdalan sculpture wells. They may have some significance.
• There are 2 Amygdalan sculpture wells, but go to the one at 258,59,-26 Copy . Off the southeastern side of the road is a small piece of paper on the ground. Pick up the torn journal page to complete the quest. Examine the page to start With a Heart of Fear.
