A Gift From the Serpent's Mouth  

Please remove or edit my post. It was late and I was confused what level of the sewers I was in. Sorry.

Today I ran into that snake again in about the same place as before. And it was in Serpent Sewers not Edgewater as I had posted before. Just past the chamber with the Named Globule and the Ratonga in that narrow elbow passage. The main passage sort of loops around the whole zone. I followed the snake as it roamed for a little bit untill it passed a heroic encounter I couldn't solo (due to the recent combat changes). I can't confirm with direct observation, but I think its patrol path is the main passage loop.

I just completed this quest as a 25 Bruiser. It took maybe 15minutes, and I received the Stenchfang Rapier which is decent considering the quest would be cake even for someone of the zone's level. The only tough part was getting the update from the snakes.

Same...am level 28 and no quest was giving to me. So I gave the fang to our level 26 INQ and he was able to examine the fang and initiate the quest but was unable to get anything from Marcus Puer.

I went all over the sewer and none of the merchants nor the watcher near the merchants will acknowledge the fang.

I have /bugged it.

I recieved this item from Stench. The fang is called "Stench's Fang". I also recieved an earring from him called "Dragon Tear Earring" which has the following stats:
+5int +7sta +4wis +28health +32power +242vs disease +242vs divine +242vs magic

AC: 17

Skill rqd: 70
mstry: 95

I have not yet done the quest.
It is gray to me at 27, but the stats are still amazing.

The german name for the snake fang is "Stenchs Reißzahn" which would be "Stenchs Razortooth" in english.
