With my help, Kain Starkson has been able to secure a ship and ready his crew to escape from Freeport. I should see them off safely, in case Siren has caught wind of this and planned any last minute surprises.

Stage 1

I should return to my patrol route on the southern dock to make sure the harbor goes unwatched.

I need to survive this voyage long enough for the crew to drop me off ashore.

I engaged one of Lucan's Wraithguard, which was subsequently devoured by a leviathan summoned by Kain.

I should speak to Kain about the recent series of events.

The crew of the Salty Lass dropped me off ashore.

Having felt Kain Starkson was legitimately wronged by the Seafury Buccaneers, I've helped him make off with one of their ships. It weakened Freeport's navy but little, and hopefully sent a message to Lucan and the Buccaneers that citizens of Freeport still value their individual freedoms. The Wraithguard who attacked me now lies in the belly of a leviathan, somewhere at the bottom of the stormy sea.

Speak to Kain Starkson at -253, -55, 16 on the docks behind Seafarer's Roost in East Freeport to begin this quest.

If you chose to complete the optional quest, The Insider, you will instead be offered the quest Betrayal by Boat.

Talk to a mysterious figure on the docks in South Freeport. ( -299, -59, 201 )
Once you tell the figure you are ready to leave you will zone to The Salty Lass II.
Speak to Kain on the boat.
A wraithguard will attack, kill it.
Now lead it in to the fire.
Now let the sea monster eat it. This part is hard as you have to maneuver the knight to the right spot. Might take a while.
After the wraithguard is eaten by a sea monster, fight off the 4 tentacles.
Talk to Kain, to complete the quest
You will then be told to jump off the boat to get back to Freeport.

You must be at least level 80 to be able to continue this series.
