This item is not useless as a scout...impractical maybe, but I can see it's use. Flowing Thought V is nothing to scoff at. I could definitely see scouts in a group or raid situation (esp raids) get some use out of the in combat power regen boost it would give. You shouldn't be getting agro, so the low mitigation isn't a problem...only the poor stats are an issue, but that's more than made up for by the power regen. Still...it's more trouble that it's worth typically.
It stacks with all power-rejen items, but however there is a cap on the power rejen off of items in LU18 for items the cap is 1.5 x Level x 0.5, so if your level 50 the cap is 37.5
Eq2's version of KEI i guess FT5 looks sweet with right food could be very very nice for Pallys anything that recharges that power line faster even nicer if it is during combat.
Cmon guys stop complaining about them being only VLA as a mage im happy to be able to wear them and the fact that there is something tailored for us. There are multiple other heritage quests that give an item that the mage or other classes cannot use, or there is no choice in the reward. Since it is VLA anyone and everyone can use and has access to it. I see no mage version or choice when it comes to the completion of the ghoulbane or shiny brass shield.
You are given the one appropriate for you. You do not get a choice. The Flowing Thought displays on your buff bar as an icon of a face with eyes closed.
Flowing thought is supposedly a power regen similar to clarity. Going back to Sol E to finish this up today and kill Djarn... will post regen rate when done.
